About Eduardo Valenzuela
Eddy joined the staff of Safer States in 2020 as the Administrative Assistant. He provides technical support for Toxic-Free Future. Before joining Safer States, Eddy previously worked on implementing and administering several different environmental programs as an Environmental Programs Assistant with the City of Arcata. One of his biggest accomplishments is drafting the city’s Single-Use Disposable Foodware Ordinance and incorporating a provision that bans PFAS chemicals. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science & Management from Humboldt State University. In his free time, Eddy loves to go on adventures with his partner Ben and snuggle with their cat named Lady Pouncealot.
