About Liz Hitchcock

Liz Hitchcock is director of Toxic-Free Future’s federal policy program. She leads advocacy efforts with Congress, EPA and other federal agencies. Prior to integration with TFF, Liz led Safer Chemicals Healthy Families’ advocacy work for nine years.  She previously worked with the Public Interest Research Groups for 28 years. As U.S. PIRG’s public health advocate, she led campaigns on environmental health issues including product safety, chemical policy reform, chemical facility security, and food safety. She received a BA in Politics from Mount Holyoke College. In her free time Liz enjoys historical fiction and yoga.
