About Roald Bradley Severtson
Roald Severtson has worked as a software developer for 20 years at Microsoft and Amazon, a hydrogeologist in Seattle, and a teacher of mathematics and physics at d’Overbroeck’s College, Oxford. He was educated at the University of Puget Sound, Oxford University (on a Rhodes Scholarship), the University of Chicago (on a National Science Foundation Fellowship), and the University of Washington. He has served on several nonprofit boards, working to protect the health of communities and ecosystems. Roald lives in Seattle with his wife and enjoys the bounty of his backyard and the company of his wide network of friends.
