For years, I have tried to only buy products labeled as “green” and “natural”. I thought I was doing enough to make sure I wasn’t exposed to toxic chemicals. But I was wrong.
In the coming weeks we'll share some of the stories of the 200 Stroller Brigade participants. In the meantime, I wanted to share some of the highlights from the day.
I am tired of having chemical companies' untested concoctions run through my veins uninvited. Monsanto, Dow, DuPont, Exxon Mobil, etc. you are NOT invited to take up residence in my DNA.

Our Stroller Brigade is bringing together concerned Americans from every corner of our country to help tell Congress why it’s so critical that we commit to passing real reform that will protect families from toxic chemicals. Here’s just a small glimpse at some of the participants flying in to Washington next week for safer chemicals.
As you can tell, we're getting very excited about our Stroller Brigade next week in Washington D.C. This family friendly event will bring people together from all across the country.
Kristin Winchell’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 51. After aggressive treatment and a double mastectomy she was healthy for eight years. She only lived eight months after her second diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. “My mom always thought that the products on store shelves and the foods she ate were free of toxic chemicals.”
We want reform that protects vulnerable populations, ensures the EPA can take action on notoriously toxic chemicals and moves us towards safer chemicals. So what better a time to bring the Stroller Brigade back to Washington?
